Copy Task Panel

  • Task Code: Tasks are the individual steps required for a case to progress from application to completion. Click Lookup for Task Code to open a selection window. The options at the top of the PLL Task Lookup window allow you to select by a task or task group. Whichever option you choose, select the task or task group code, and click Submit.
  • Department Code: This field identifies the department the task is assigned to. Click Lookup for Department to open a selection window. Select the Department Code and click Submit.
  • Division Code: This field identifies the division the task is assigned to. Click Lookup for Division to open a selection window. Select the Division Code and click Submit.
  • Assigned To: Select the employee assigned to the task. Use Lookup for Responsible User Id to open a selection window. Select the desired Login ID and click Submit.
  • Task Available: This populates with the date on which the task becomes available. This field cannot be changed.
  • Target Start: The date on which the task is estimated to begin. This field cannot be changed on the Copy: Task panel, but it can be changed on the Edit Task panel. See Edit a Task for more information.
  • Target End: The estimated date when the task is completed. This field cannot be changed on the Copy: Task panel, but it can be changed on the Edit Task panel. See Edit a Task for more information.
  • Actual Start: The date the task begins. This field cannot be changed on the Copy: Task panel, but it can be changed on the Edit Task panel. See Edit a Task for more information.
  • Actual End: The date the task is completed. This field cannot be changed on the Copy: Task panel, but it can be changed on the Edit Task panel. See Edit a Task for more information.
  • Unit: This allows you to specify a location by entering a unit number.

  • Location Notes: This allows you to specify a location by entering notes about the exact location of the case.

  • Result Code: Use the drop-down list to identify the result of the task. The case type determines the result codes available in the drop-down list.
  • Completed Date: Use the calendar icon to select the date on which the task is completed.
  • Completed By: Use the Lookup icon to select the login ID of the employee who marked the task as complete.
  • Hearing Type: If the matter needs to be heard and determined by a specific group or council, you can use Lookup for Hearing Type to select the type of hearing needed. In the selection window, select the desired type and click Submit.
  • Discipline Code: This identifies the type of work needed to complete the task. Click Lookup for Discipline to open a selection window. Select the desired code and click Submit.
  • Lead Days: This is under development.
  • Reschedule After Days: This is under development.
  • Work Units: This is under development.
  • Comments: Select this check box to copy any comments from the task you're copying to the new task.
  • Time Accounting: Time accounting allows you to track the time spend on certain tasks. Select this check box to copy any time accounting information from the task you're copying to the new task.
