Asset Viewer Fields

The Asset Viewer allows you to view and edit attribute information, as well as view work history and relationships.

NOTE: Each asset will have a unique form to edit attribute information, so the asset you select may not have a form identical to the example below. See Add an Asset Type in the Designer for 15.7 Guide for more information.

  • Attributes: Select to view the asset's attributes.
  • Work History: Select to view any work orders or inspections attached to the asset.
  • Relationships: Select to view any related objects for the asset. Click Expand to view all the related objects. Click Check or Uncheck to select or clear the selected entity.
  • Edit: Click to edit attribute information.
  • Flag: Click to copy the asset to the session. You can then create a new work activity or search for records associated to the asset by selecting the appropriate tab on the main toolbar. This is only visible on the Attributes and Relationships tabs.
  • Save: Click to save attribute information.
  • Return: Click to stop editing attributes.
  • Map: Click to view the asset on the map. The map must be open for this to work. This is only visible on the Attributes and Relationships tabs.
  • Expand: Click to view all the related objects. This is only visible on the Relationships tab.
  • Check: Click to select the check box for the selected assets. This is only visible on the Relationships tab.
  • Uncheck: Click to clear the check box for the selected assets. This is only visible on the Relationships tab.
